Planted the seeds

Last night I planted the seeds in a small pot I then watered them and placed them near my window. Now comes the waiting. Checking daily for signs of growth, and making sure that the plants are cared for.

Periodic updates to follow.

Germinating the Bonsai Seeds

Today began the journey of growing a bonsai tree. The term bonsai is Japanese, literally meaning "tray planting." It is a form of art that uses miniature trees grown in containers. The first step in this process of growing a bonsai is the Germinate the seeds. The directions received along side the seeds instructed the grower to place the seeds on a small dish with water just covering them, topped with a moist cloth. One should leave them in a dark area at room temperature for two days then move them to the fridge for seven days. After this one should then proceed to plant them.

I have done as instructed and my seeds are now sitting on a shelf in my room where they will not be disturbed until Thursday evening when i will put them into the fridge.
